For the eighth time since 2005, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is hosting a job fair on March 23-24.
The job fair will run Friday, March 23 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is open to everyone, from students looking for their first jobs to experienced workforce veterans looking for a new role or additional work.
Full- and part-time openings exist in virtually all departments including guest services, food service, ticket sales and safety services. Attendees can visit the fourth floor of Mid-Ohio’s Goodyear Tower for job descriptions and applications. Once done there, applicants can head to the fifth floor where Mid-Ohio department managers will be on hand to answer questions and meet prospective employees.
“This has become an important event for us to find the talent in our community to fill all the necessary positions at the track,” said Mid-Ohio president Craig Rust. “It is a great opportunity for people to ask questions and speak with staff members to gain a better understanding of what is involved in working at a racetrack.”
In addition to Mid-Ohio, Lake Erie Communications representatives will be on site recruiting for race officials, flaggers and other competition and official positions.
Mid-Oho’s 2012 season kicks off on June 8-10 with the EMCO Gears Classic. General parking is free and children 12 and under are also admitted free. Visit www.midohio.com
anytime or call 800-MID-OHIO (643-6446) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m- 5 p.m. to order tickets or for more information.
