Mid-Ohio Statement on GRAND-AM Road Racing and American Le Mans Series Merger

LEXINGTON, OHIO (September 5, 2012) – The official statement from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course:

“As one of a handful of racetracks that has been fortunate to promote both GRAND-AM Road Racing and American Le Mans Series events for many years, we are thrilled with today’s announcement that the two series have decided to merge. Their combined efforts and passion for sports car racing in North America will provide Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, our fans and our partners with an exciting opportunity to build upon our proud history and tradition of sports car racing while being part of this new era in motorsports.”
