The event, called the Nationwide Children’s 200 at Mid-Ohio, will be the first NASCAR Nationwide Series race in Ohio. General Admission tickets are still available at the gate starting at $50. Grant Reed, a 12 year old cancer survivor who was treated at Nationwide Children’s Hospital has been named Grand Marshal of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Saturday, August 17. An avid Ohio State football fan, Reed named his cancer ‘Michigan’ after the Buckeyes’ chief rival. He planned to do what he hopes the Buckeyes do each season on the gridiron, and beat Michigan.
