LEXINGTON, OH, August 13, 2015 – The Trans Am Series is once more gearing up for the spotlight in preparation for the Next Dimension 100, presented by FirstEnergy at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this coming weekend, Round 7 of the 2015 Trans Am Championship. Alongside NASCAR Xfinity and World Challenge, Trans Am will continue a legacy of road racing at one of the nation’s most treasured tracks with two independent Trans Am Races: the First Energy Muscle Car Challenge, presented by 3-Dimensional Services, a TA2 exclusive race; and the Next Dimension 100, presented by First Energy, featuring the TA and TA3 classes.
LEXINGTON, OH, August 11, 2015 – Pirelli World Challenge TC, TCA and TCB drivers head to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, August 13–15 as the series' 2015 season heads into the homestretch. Forty drivers across three of the series' seven classes will compete in the OPTIMA Batteries Mid-Ohio Grand Prix presented by MOMO. TC, TCA and TCB drivers will compete in Rounds 10, 11 and 12 of the championships.

Sean Rayhall, who is undertaking only a partial campaign with 8Star Motorsports, emerged to take his second win of the season after two of the three main championship protagonists, Ed Jones and Jack Harvey, collided while battling for the lead.
LEXINGTON, OH, August 2, 2015 -- For the second straight year, Ryan Dalziel, of Windermere, Fla, swept the GT weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, winning Round 15, part of the StopTech Grand Prix presented by MOMO. Bryan Heitkotter, of Fresno, Calif., won in GTA and finished third overall, while Colin Thompson, of Doylestown, Pa., won Round 13 of the GT Cup presented by MOMO class.
LEXINGTON, OH, August 2, 2015 - Graham Rahal's surge in the second half of the Verizon IndyCar Series season continued with an emphatic victory in the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio. Rahal, who started 13th in the 90-lap race in the No. 15 Steak 'n Shake Honda for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, corralled his second victory of the season and third of his Indy car career.
LEXINGTON, OH, August 1, 2015 - Scott Dixon shattered a 16-year-old track record on the way to earning the Verizon P1 Award for Sunday's 90-lap Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio. This marks the fourth track record that has been broken during the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series season, which in addition to Mid-Ohio includes events at St. Petersburg, Long Beach and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.
LEXINGTON, OH, August 1, 2015 -- Nico Jamin is on a roll. The 19-year-old Frenchman swept all three races that comprised this weekend’s Allied Building Products Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio, Rounds 12, 13 and 14 of the 16-race Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda. Jamin, driving for now four-time defending championship-winning team Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing, now holds a commanding 50-point advantage going into the final double-header event of the season at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on September 11-13.
