AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

July 19-21, 2013
Event Details
Over the last hundred or so years, motorcycle have undergone a massive amount of evolution to become the lightweight, fast, awesome-looking vehicles they are today. The American Motorcyclist Association brings experts to lectures, history to the infield, speed to the track and value to the huge swap meet.

For additional event information, visit amavintagemotorcycledays.com.

CycleFest is the only way you can attend the WERA Sportsman Series return to Mid-Ohio on Wednesday and Thursday July 17-18.

This is where it all begins for anyone who is interested in motorcycle roadracing. The Series is geographically set to hold seven to 12 races per geographical region giving a rider the ability to compete in the series without traveling across the country. There are classes to accommodate each brand and type of motorcycle, the events can include a rider's school on the first day, with WERA Vintage Racing on some events and/or the weekends have Solo 20 racing on day two. Solo 20 races are 20 laps and offer three classes – Heavyweight/Mediumweight and Lightweight. Each rider in the Sportsman Series accumulates points in the classes they run in their Region and thereby qualify for the WERA Grand National Final which is held at the end of each season and pits the best against the best for the National Sportsman Championships in WERA's classes. WERA GNF invitations are a coveted prize and the event is one of the biggest motorcycle roadracing events in the U.S. each fall!
