The race, the sixth of 11 stops on the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, is the headline event on a weekend full of racing at Mid-Ohio. The EMCO Gears Classic presented by KeyBank is the first of six spectator events Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will host in summer 2009. It features a weekend full of racing highlighted by the Daytona Prototypes on the Grand-Am Sports Car Series. In addition to the weekend’s main event, the track will see supporting races from the KONI Sports Car Challenge GS and ST classes as well as runs from the Ford Mustang Racing Challenge and Jetta TDI Cup.
