Datsun/Nissan will lead the numerous classic racing machines that will be on display and on track in Lexington, Ohio on June 25-27 as the Featured Marque for the 25th annual Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio. In the first of two throwback weekends at the classic road course, fans will be treated to several group races as well as Formula B and Formula 5000, sanctioned by the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association. Car clubs make up a big part of the weekend with over 400 vintage vehicles adding to the festivities in 2010.
Featured Marque
SVRA, along with Mid-Ohio Sports Course have selected Datsun/Nissan as the featured marque for the 2010 Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio.
British Car Showdown
From contemporary British classics to some of the more nostalgic forms of British innovation, the 12th Annual British Car Showdown is sure to provide everyone something of interest. Whether you are a gearhead or your engine knowledge doesn't venture much farther than changing the oil, stop by a car and chat with one of the owners. You will be amazed by what you can learn from the enthusiastic participants who welcome the opportunity to come in contact wit an open ear.
Concours d'Elegance
Classics of all makes and models and colors, shapes, and sizes will be on display throughout the day for the Concours d'Elegance. At lunch, be sure to check out the beautiful cars participating in this show as they take a trip around the track.
