KeyBank is trying to help by holding a safe driving program for teens.
The Key to Safe Teen Driving program is visiting eight schools in Ohio. On Wednesday, it stopped at Southview High School in Sylvania.
Students were shown how to drive in wet conditions and make emergency lane changes. They were also able to drive a skid car, which simulates driving in wet or icy conditions.
"As a new driver it's always scary in dangerous situations like that," said Timothy Schlachter.
The program moves to Perrysburg High School on Thursday.
