The Mid-Ohio School's Performance Track Riding (PTR) program is set to begin its fifth season on April 24-25. With 22 dates scheduled and potentially more to come, we talk with a handful of people with integral roles in the program. TrueSports, Inc., owners and operators of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and The Mid-Ohio School, is hosting its 3rd Annual Community Open House and 6th Annual Job Fair on Saturday, March 20.
The Mid-Ohio School, owned and operated by TrueSports, Inc., will host the first class of its 18th season on Saturday, March 13 with the Honda Teen Defensive Driving Program.
The school, located at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, will offer almost 150 driving days and 25 Performance Track Riding programs for sportbikes in 2010. Since the last class of 2009, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. has provided The Mid-Ohio School with three dozen new 2010 Acura TSXs. These sporty, luxury sedans are driven by school participants in the on-track driving programs.
The Mid-Ohio School refreshed its fleet this winter with 37 new 2010 Acura TSXs. We talk to Sonny Gee, The Mid-Ohio School fleet manager, about how he gets the cars ready for racing and Jessica Fini, Acura PR Coordinator, in regards to the TSX’s history and current model.
KTM, the official motorcycle of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and The Mid-Ohio School, will host four Race_Orange Track Day Experience sessions at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 2010. The dates are April 26, April 27, July 7 and July 19.
