Something new will be introduced at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this August, and it isn’t our first NASCAR Nationwide Series race. Acura will debut NSX prototype, which is slated to launch in 2015, at Mid-Ohio before The Honda Indy 200. The hybrid NSX supercar will take a lap of a track and show off its speed and handling on August 4th at 3 p.m. This will be the first time the public will get to see the 2015 Acura NSX prototype in action.
The Acura NSX Prototype is engineered by Honda R&D in Raymond, Ohio. Acura also recently established a performance manufacturing center in Marysville, Ohio. A Mid-Ohio unveiling fits perfectly for the Ohio-engineered, Ohio-made vehicle. For those not in attendance, the lap of the Acura NSX will also be shown on NBC Sports Network at 3 p.m.
