Green Savoree Racing Promotions launches new subsidiary and hires Terry Angstadt to drive growth through existing racing properties and acquisitions

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, April 12, 2012 - Kim Green and Kevin Savoree, owners of Green Savoree Racing Promotions, announce today important changes to their business operations that are intended to maximize the organization’s growth in the North American auto racing sector.

Effective May 1, Terry Angstadt, previously president of INDYCAR’s commercial division, will assume the role of executive vice president and general manager of Green Savoree Racing Promotions and will be given the day-to-day reigns of Green Savoree Sports and Entertainment, a newly created subsidiary devoted to managing the sales and marketing activities of Green Savoree properties along with the evaluation and acquisition of new opportunities.

"Terry is an extremely competent and experienced motorsports professional who has excelled in his previous executive roles," said Kevin Savoree. “His track record is awesome and we believe he has the professionalism and interpersonal skills to help us drive our company toward its growth targets. We are delighted that he has accepted to join our existing leadership team.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Kim, Kevin and the team at Green Savoree for many years and have always considered them to be among the best in the business,” said Terry Angstadt. “I am wholly committed to their vision of delivering a wholesome, diverse and exciting race event experience to customers while building a sustainable growth platform for all our business and community partners."

In close partnership with their general managers in St. Petersburg, Toronto and Mid-Ohio, Green and Savoree have implanted a growth philosophy and corporate culture that revolves around people, partnerships and sound fiscal management and a long-term business approach to event performance and corporate sponsorships.

“Key result areas are exceeding expectations across all three markets, from ticket sales to corporate sponsorships,” said Kim Green. “These results are directly related to the performance of our personnel and broader team of partners, led by our general managers and a longstanding partnership with Honda. I am confident the addition of Terry to our organization will allow our team to improve its collective performance in 2012 and assuredly well beyond.”

Terry Angstadt is an accomplished executive who has successfully managed demanding positions with a variety of corporations. For the past 11 years, Terry served tenures at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as Vice President, Marketing and at INDYCAR as president of its commercial division.
