2025 race marks the 40th anniversary of Rahal’s first INDYCAR win at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 22, 2025) – Tristan McKee (No. 28 Spire/Gainbridge/SLR-M1 Chevrolet Camaro) earned his first-career CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series victory in style, leading every lap on his way to Victory Lane at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. After claiming the point position when his teammate Corey Day (No. 17 HendrickCars.com/SLR-M1 Chevrolet Camaro) went off course in the first turn of the race, the second-place starter put on a display of pure dominance, driving away from his competitors and repeating the feat for multiple restarts. When he captured the checkered flag, he became the second-youngest winner in the history of the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli, and stood atop the podium between TA2 Champions Rafa Matos (No. 57 Concord American Flagpole/SHR Chevrolet Camaro) and Thomas Merrill (No. 26 HP Tuners/Franklin Road/Cope Chevrolet Camaro). McKee’s win extends his lead in the point standings for the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series Championship, Rookie of the Year and Young Gun Award.

Bruno Ribeiro Wins in FR Americas, Takes Points Lead at Mid-Ohio

LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 22, 2025) – Bruno Ribeiro earned his second Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) victory of the 2025 season on Sunday afternoon at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. With a strong showing that included two victories in the weekend’s three events, Ribeiro (No. 01 Alfa Cem / Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) climbed to the top of the standings with a three-point advantage over the other Mid-Ohio victor, Nicolas Ambiado (No. 55 Velox USA / Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3). 

GastĂłn IrazĂş Returns to Top Step of the Podium at Mid-Ohio

LEXINGTON, Ohio. (June 22, 2025) – GastĂłn IrazĂş extended his championship lead in the Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC), climbing atop the podium at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Sunday morning. In a race filled with three-wide battles and intense racing, IrazĂş (No. 42 Elia Group / Baly / Canal 4 / Ancap / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4) held off hard charges from both Pablo Benites Jr. (No. 44 Scuderia Buell Ligier JS F4) and Daniel Cará (No. 10 Tenuta Foppa & Ambrosi Wines / WorkHub / Cará Origin Motorsports Ligier JS F4) to secure his third win of the 2025 season. Starting from the pole position, IrazĂş was immediately challenged by Cará from the second the lights went out. Racing two-wide through the keyhole, the two began a cat and mouse game that lasted the entire 30 minutes. Behind them, Benites Jr. had jumped forward from his sixth-place starting position to claim third by the completion of the first lap.Â
