Seasonal employment applications are being accepted by Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the 2024 racing season

LEXINGTON, Ohio (April 5, 2024) - Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, has opened its employment application process to fill seasonal positions in six specialty areas for the 2024 racing season. Hardworking, dedicated candidates ages 16 and older are encouraged to apply now.

Workers are being sought in ticketing and customer service; food service, catering and concessions; operations and maintenance; safety; guest services and security; and the track corner marshal departments. Bagger Class Added to Packed Vintage Road Racing Schedule at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

AMA Amateur National Bagger Championship class in partnership with Bagger Racing League running Saturday 

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — Classic racing motorcycles from decades past will command the freshly repaved curves of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, during 2024 Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, July 26-28. America’s grandest celebration of vintage motorcycles will honor eras old and new with national championship racing on one of the country’s favorite road courses.

Mid-Ohio Memories, 1996: Picotte Wins A Messy One

The soaking-wet 1996 AMA Superbike race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course was nothing if not a complete and utter debacle. The race was won by Yoshimura Suzuki’s Pascal Picotte after a second red flag stoppage when Vance & Hines Yamaha’s Jamie James crashed in spectacular fashion in the last corner, prompting AMA officials to finally put a stop to the proceedings.

Mid-Ohio Memories, 1995: If You’ve Got ‘Em, Smoke ‘Em

Smokin’ Joe’s Honda Martin Adams had a day at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 1995 with his two-rider team of Miguel Duhamel and Mike Hale giving the likable team owner from Kentucky a one-two finish in the fourth round of the 1995 AMA Superbike Championship.
