Bourdais lapped Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in the No. 01 Cadillac Racing Cadillac DPi in 1 minute, 10.439 seconds (115.401 mph) in Saturday’s 15-minute qualifying session to earn the Motul Pole Award for Sunday’s Lexus Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio, Round 5 of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Acura Holds True to Early Form at Mid-Ohio Practice

LEXINGTON, Ohio – Recent history suggests there are two manufacturer favorites heading into the Lexus Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio, the fifth round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Acura is undefeated at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course during the Daytona Prototype international (DPi) era dating to 2018, with Ricky Taylor – who currently shares the No. 10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-05 DPi with Filipe Albuquerque – taking the overall race win in three of the last four years.

O’Reilly Auto Parts also joins facility as season-long partner

LEXINGTON, Ohio (May 5, 2022) – O’Reilly Auto Parts has been announced as the title sponsor of the inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (CWTS) event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, set for July 8-9, 2022. The 67-lap race covering 151 miles will be called the O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 at Mid-Ohio.
